The word “justified” is a legal term, and it means to be made right in the eyes of the court, all fines paid, with no balance due.  Watch this short video that helps explain the justification Jesus accomplished on the Cross.  After all, if Christianity is simply about living up to our potential while living a decent and moral life, the Cross really wasn’t necessary, right?  And if recognizing sin and being sorry for it (repentance) made us right in the eyes of the court, the Cross wouldn’t be necessary then, either.  But it was necessary!  Understanding how to be in right-standing with the Holy Court is incredibly important.  Spend 9 minutes to watch and learn of these things…
